Paulina has called Newcastle home for over 20 years, dedicating that time working in a not-for-profit organisation where she and the team supported people in achieving their work life goals and helping them navigate life and difficult situations using her warmth, empathy, straight talking and encouragement. She’s now turned her energy to the funeral industry after identifying that there was a better way to do things and is finding her can-do attitude assists in respectfully stretching the boundaries within the industry. She is passionate about shifting the narrative around death and our last goodbye, promoting personal choice, inserting creativity and encouraging family and community involvement during life's final chapter.
With a talent for calm problem-solving, and a love for storytelling, Paulina is committed to helping families create meaningful and authentic final celebrations. Her love for truly demonstrating the life which was, has seen her arrange grand funerals on the parade ground of Fort Scratchley, overlooking the Newcastle coastline, full to the brim with military traditions honouring a decorated and much loved Service Man, gorgeous family led, back yard life celebrations involving community choirs, to intimate beachside memorials, to name a few, each as precious and meaningful as the other because it was personal, thoughtful and beautifully arranged.
As a mother of two adult children, a devoted wife of 33 years, a former Defence Force Member and Defence Force Family Member of nearly 40 years, Paulina understands and respects the diversity of community, family, circumstance and culture.
Now deeply rooted in the Hunter Region, with the fabulous wine districts to the north, beautiful Lake Macquarie to the south and Newcastle and Port Stephens beaches to the east, she draws inspiration from the amazing surroundings and its diverse and vibrant communities.
Paulina and her new team aims to help communities feel more comfortable discussing death while equipping them to make informed decisions about end-of-life celebrations that truly honour individuality. She is eager to meet with you to explore options for planning a meaningful farewell, whether it’s imminent or years away.
